Yes yes yes! The second cover, with the armored centaur is one of my favorites, and the reason I wrote up the centaur as a playable race in my games. The image of the gnomes/dwarfs coming out of the bridge inspired one of the encounters in my Western Venatia sandbox.
Yeah I really dig that centaur as well. Kudos to the artist for departing from the typical Greco-style horse-man and giving his character a sleek, high fantasy look. The distressed, S&S-style heroine with the nice booty doesn't hurt the piece either.
I posted about my favorite Dragon covers a couple years ago and the centaur cover (aka "Bridge of Sorrows") made my list as well. You really can't go wrong with Beauvais. I'm just sorry I never picked up the 3-D version back in the day.
Now that is an awesome sculpt in need of an awesome paint job. Thanks for the artist's name btw -- checking out his site right now.
