Dolmenwood | A finished map of the region


Don't think I've posted this (possibly) final draft of the Dolmenwood map, so for posterity it can be found HERE.

I have a question for you guys/gals regarding my editorial approach to the Dolmenwood setting book:
What sort of details do you think are essential for each hex entry? Naturally there will be a short description of the environment and its inhabitants, and I'd like to include a listing of Resources available there. What other deets would you want to see?

    1. Basically everything that Allan suggested below. Herbs, mushrooms, animal denizens and rare tree types will appear under Resources.

    Agreed with Nathan: adventure-some ideas would be fun, in particular ones that you can't just pull out of random encounter charts---basically the cool/special encounters, rather than the "tribe of 220 kobolds" variety. Stuff like strange effects based on proximity to the dolmens, plinths, and ley lines, with additional calendar-based variations perhaps?
